I think the easiest way is the old fashioned pipe in the tank and suck until syphon action takes over trick.

 

Other methods involving disconnecting fuel lines are too hazardous with petrol, and could also throw up faults on the ecu if the ignition was turned on as well.

 

Why not just add

filler pipe has an anti siphon (also spelled syphon) device fitted, easiest way is to remove middle row seats peel back the carpet/sound proofing and gain access to the tank via the inspection hatch in the floor behind the drivers seat and then syphon the fuel out, if you look through the dumb arse TDI owners thread about filling up with petrol you'll find several pointers on the subject :lol:
